Tomorrow please.
Amen
Tomorrow please.
Amen
@1c4
I've been begging for this since last year and it never comes.
Those that got laid off before the mid-year review period probably got an IM or NI so the senior managers can level out their bell curve distribution and show how tough they are.
I have a year off from 30 years of working at Wells, probably will never return. Toxic
Just taking the summer off and enjoying every freaking moment!
The layoff does actually start with an “inconsistently meets” after never, getting that ever in your entire career.
Down 20 pounds from walking my trail every day my dog loves it!
@ep got laid off two weeks ago and no mister released. Late last week I see mister in workday. Got a meets.
@g7
Mine used copilot to rephrase what I put in my self review.
@ep my manager didn’t bother to setup a mid year review meeting. He only sent the reviews through email and asked me to set up time if I had questions last Friday. It was the first time I’ve ever had an Inconsistently Meets rating. I’ve been under this manager for 2 months.
@ep got the zz today - no midyear review took place
Hey guys are you hiring for remote tellers?
I have not even had a mid year yet so no idea. lol
For those of you that were laid off, were you given your midyear review? I realize it would have been a separate event from being laid off. Just curious how you midyear went, whether it was Meets and then 2 days later you get axed, or if you got IM or NI.
@e4+1k0px0635 They have known at the very least long enough to take the displacement training managers have to take. Otherwise, they may or may not have known. Different areas, different answers on that.
Best wishes!
got the axe today. Question - did my manager have any say in the decision and 2 how long has he known ?
@am+1k0px0635 I know two people that were laid off but found positions w/in the company. I assume it was before their non-working period was over. But they were both at lower levels than they were at before the layoff. Thing is they probably kept their salary and took on roles with less management headaches.
Just got the axe in home lending yay!
The only time it'd be worth it to come back is if you do so during the end of the severance period, so you could double dip when downsized the second time.
@am No they do not. I know someone who applied to 45 positions after getting laid off and has not got in. It is not worth it. They are going to bring down the head counts to 150K or less. So it is not going to end anytime soon.
Only in very rare cases. Shart spent a lot of money to get rid of you, he doesn't want you back.
For me it’s either tomorrow but not likely, aug 5 or August 19th. Don’t expect to be around after that.
Pay me to leave, period. Not leaving until it happens.
Do they rehire displaced employee? Do u really need to apply for internal job position after layoff during severance period?
I waited for a layoff that never came. It was not worth waiting, wells is a toxic place and I recommend everyone get out asap.
Other companies are nothing like them! It is so nice to not hate Sunday’s for the he-l coming after them when I was with wells.
I'm in the final stages of interviewing at another company. If the layoff gods are on my side I'll get laid off tomorrow and a job offer a few weeks from now. I have low confidence on either but one can dream.
