Lòoks like my job is going away at Fiserv in a few months. I'm actually looking forward to it. I'll be able to rest and take the layoff package. Then I'll go work for a bank and be a thorn in Fiservs sode.

Sounds like someone is a little testy about uprooting and relocating to the armpit of America that is New Jersey.

@1ayq+1kCZmIDc, clearly Keil is someone who knows what he's talking about. His comments reflect my experience at Fiserv quite accurately.

Who is Keil and why do we care what he thinks?

There has to be more layoffs because all the promised "synergies" by bringing FISV & FD together haven't materialized. It was a complete waste of 20 billion when both companies should have been left separate.

... and the money quote:

FIS and Fiserv are “where good technology goes to die,” Keil said he and colleagues joke. “They buy it and then that technology dies a slow death,” he said

Has anyone else noticed that Yahoo has turned off commenting for FiServ stories?

Fiserv is crushing its competition because it provides better products and services. Your narrative is out of touch and biased by the work from home crowd who refused to relocate from the town you went to high school.

This is a buying opportunity!

If you buy, it provides insiders an opportunity to sell.

Lol @ getting new clients. Will be lucky to retain clients. Most I hear from are disgruntled with fiserv "service". Can't tell you how many times I've hear the word "save" in the last year referring to free projects being done for unhappy clients.

It's a sinking ship people. You want to run it like it's 1950, expect results accordingly.

RISK ANALYSIS

  • Has a high level of debt
  • Significant insider selling over the past 3 months

If Fiserv cannot get clients to renew contracts over the next few years, then the idea that it can manage debt fairly comfortably will degrade quickly. It seems like a very fine line between it's ok and alarm status.
