There is a reorganization again of centerwell that will be socialized starting this week. In the west, we have had so many reorganizations, managers, directors and program changes that I'm not sure those of us left can take any more. It will impact the other regions too. i just know we are going to learn some about it this week. The east is in bad shape too. They are dealing will all measures of things that were discussed in high level meetings this week and their director and managers are terrible which finally came to light so expect some rough waters there too. You should buckle up because this racecar ride with four flat tires never seems to end.

@eb centerwell is the rainmaker of humana
@135 wonder how many jobs it cost to pay for databricks!
Any update on what is going to happen? I read about the pharmacy leads. Who else is getting chopped? I just want to know if I should be looking for a job because it's a tough job market right now for my work.
The software at CW Pharm is awful. The development teams are made up of a bunch of contractors blowing smoke up leadership's a-s, using very poor coding practices with merging code and managing branches, and the only full time associates that are there are under qualified for their role. Things are fixed with band-aid solutions and one shots that just makes the data even more messed up. It has been like this since they implemented their "new" pharmacy system over ten years ago. As a former software tester working there, it is no surprise that they want to clean house. Advice to mgmt: focus on who is really causing the problems, stop blaming the people that are speaking the truth.
@OP When you have leadership or the lack of leadership like Jason Marlowitz as VP...there is no wonder why things are going downhill. That dou--e can't even get his "friends" that he hires to stay due to his toxic behavior. As long as he is in that role, Centerwell and Conviva will continue to decline. He ki-ls motivation, innovation, and accountability with his behavior and failure to lead by example.
@eb yes centerwell primary care org really is that crazy. Leadership is the worst I have experienced as a nurse of 20 plus years and i've worked multiple different orgs. It's sad because the idea behind cw is a good one but its so poorly orchestrated that everyone working here is clawing at the walls trying to get out.
What is the deal with Centerwell? There are so many post on her about Centerwell even though it's a smallish part of Humana. I'm on the sales side. Centerwell is supposed to save humana but it sounds cray cray. Is it really that bad?
@dh I'm speaking of the care management program and I'm not sure if it will hit pharmacists or not but the pharmacists I speak to are burnt out and unhappy anyway. I feel like this time the reorganization will take out social workers and the two directors but I can't be sure so no guarantees.
Does this include CW Pharmacy? Saying “CW” is very broad.
