The 5G specs will be complete end of the year. Qualcomm will showcase its new 5G modem in February at MWC. Intel will be still arguing about who will do the work by then.

Is this symptomatic across Intel?

Intel mobile has a discipline problem. Most of the infineon losers are jumping into the next big thing, 5G. Only a few teams in U.S. are keeping things going on life support. What a mess!
