Greer AMS closing possibly?

So today in a Town Hall meeting, the Greer AMS Site Leader stated that the RIF was going to affect everyone in the room. So was that a Freudian slip where he was saying that everyone in Greer is going away? Hmmmmm

You are Great!

Now, I just want you to know that you are all valued employees, and Timmy thinks so too! After all, as I get ready to bail, cut all the corners, short the company, and leave Darius with a big mess (just like Jack Welch did to Jeff Inmelt at GE), I am... — read more

RIF? It's a layoff.

Can we stop calling it a RIF? That's just some politically correct BS jargon the corporate tools want us to use. It's a way they can throw around another acronym that flies under the radar. Call it what it is. It's a layoff.

E&T excluded from furlough?

Geez, I really can't interpret Bob Smith 6 pm email. Who's direct and who's indirect? Are "direct" employees 100% excluded or some of them still taking furlough? Did he intentionally made it confusing so it can be interpreted either way?

Furlough in Canada?

Any idea if the furlough applies to Canadian employees? We received the email from Aero leadership but it's only referring to US and Puerto Rico.
