Heald Attendance Policy
Received an email that if a student even steps foot in the classroom, they are to be marked present. Is that practice kind of the same as where the funny numbers for placement originate?
Working at McDonalds is considered gainful IT employment.
A Heald IT graduate complained to the Dean that the only job he could find was working at McDonalds getting the response : "Operating a cash register is programming a computer and thus you are employed in the booming IT field".
Everyone on this page is a Heald hater...
Some of you are just in denial about it, but that you are here speaks much louder than your words. If you love Heald so much then start a fan page and leave the adults to talk about the reality on this page.
Anyone want to guess when the next moron posts something false here?
My guess: right after this post. Hit refresh a few times and see if I am right.
All Payroll on Time...
as it always is. Nothing new to report. The only curveball might be increased 401K matches from Heald. Keep up to date on this and increase your contributions to capture this additional money as it is warranted.
How are you guys holding up at Heald?
Obviously, with everything happening in the state our enrollments (all Cali Everests) are down to almost nothing, but we're still enrolling. Nothing has changed in our operations at all, which seems kind of weird. Is it the same at Heald? How many... — read more

Any News on the Buyer?
I know there are a number of groups interested, but it would be nice to get the sale settled soon. Waiting until summer to finalize would create unnecessary uncertainty that could impact employee and student morale.

Welcome our new midterm students.
We would welcome our new midterm students but we don't have any.
Here is a way Heald can save a little money.
Fire the bloated mid-management! Does a school with a dwindling population need so many full time directors? All these people with titles, oh my.
Front row seat!
It's the only reason to still be at Heald. It's only second to getting paid, but you can't have everything.
Keep all items in your office.
Luckily, I was able speak with representatives at Kwikset. It looks like there will NOT be any padlocked colleges. I also met with the California AG, Governor, and Warren Buffet. We are fine.
Get your personal belongings out of your Heald office.
Get your personal belongings out of your Heald office. It looks more and more likely that the doors to Heald will one day just be locked.

Should be a barrel of laughs! Ha!
Enrollments. And re enters
So we had 0 re enters and 8 enrollments. Anybody else?
I recently traveled to Sacramento with others to meet with well-heeled politicians and discuss Heald.
The banter was witty. The insights were revelations. All spoke of Heald with admiration. Expansion of the college was discussed. One unnamed but well-known elected official confessed to admiration for the curriculum.
Your paycheck may be late.
Heald is scrounging up money to meet the payroll.
