Heald is NOT going to close! There is a buyer and they are in negotiations with the AG and there will be a deal soon. Heald is over 150 years old and has been an institution in California. Many great people have graduated from Heald and continue to graduate from Heald. We continue to enroll students because we want to help them be successful and we do! The average Heald student is smarter than the average community college student, that is why they chose us. Be proud to work for Heald, we will make it through. The best days are ahead of us!

heald has no buyer yet.
People need to follow the news and find out the facts before posting
I remember him briefly. He switched our campus from Angel to eCollege and made all of our desktops virtual desktops on a remote server. Can't have instructors installing software such as quiz generators, you know.
What Great People. You mean like Matt Ormond!
There is no buyer. Nobody wants these schools. For-profit education is on the way out, why would anyone want to invest.
650 You are wrong there is a buyer and the negotiations are in process.
Heald doesn't have a buyer. EVERY potential buyer has turned it down.
If you really have a core group of qualified people, consider a non-profit workers' cooperative to compete with community colleges.
Who's Rich? Does he play in the Trojan marching band? Fight On.
What's wrong with you people? You must be from CCI, because obviously you have never stepped foot on a Heald Campus! It is as close to an Ivy League school as you can get without being with rich. As a matter of fact, it had a similar beginning as Harvard did! You will not find more dedicated instructors and professionals in to who actually worder in their field instead of just read about it! Fight on Heald, prove them all wrong!
Reverse trolling. Funny
Gee, that's odd. His Wilipedia page says he attended Cazenovia College in Cazenovia, Nee York.
Thank you. I think those who are disparaging Heald are "Stanford" types (even though Leland himself was a Heald grad.) who think those trying to earn a degree don't matter. We are proving them wrong!
