I know there are a number of groups interested, but it would be nice to get the sale settled soon. Waiting until summer to finalize would create unnecessary uncertainty that could impact employee and student morale.

Santa Claus! He's been negotiating with the Tooth Fairy, but after he threatened to reveal the naughty list the Tooth Fairy caved! Once again the fat man in the red suit saves the day!
I find it really hard to believe that anyone would want to purchase the "left behind" schools that ECMC already turned down. They bought their new schools for next to nothing, so what would the remaining schools even be worth? Is heald different from Everest in that you have a lot of tangible assets? We rent our buildings...we have no actual assets.
Sorry. There is no potential buyer.
There is no buyer.
556 Go to hell! The only way to do that is more lying!
I also heard these buyers mentioned. I wonder if the secrecy means that a sale is imminent. Heald does continue to receive funding through student enrollment and their financial aid, so getting even more enrollments for April will be very helpful!
I don't think that waiting till summer will be an issue. CCI doesn't have enough cash to last that long. In terms of EDMC as a buyer, didn't the DoE agreemant last summer preclude any for profit under investigation from buying CCI schools?
The only two buyers that I have heard mentioned are Dreamcenter (Clifford's organization) and EDMC group. There are definitely others, but they are keeping things sealed in order to get the best possible sale terms.
