Freshers, experienced...who are about to join Qualcomm. # DON'T JOIN QCOM #SAVE YOUR CAREER
QCOM was a good company to work for, in current state QCOM is degrading at a fast pace.
There is no new work anywhere, its mostly same work which is done again and again with some modifications.
there is no difference what engineer is doing and what sr.staff is doing. every one is working on same thing, resulting in fights to eat the credit.
upper management is left with mostly incompetent leads, who are at this positon by virtue of years and not by their knowledge. As a result, they are incapable to estimate work, differentiate between real work and fake work. As* lickers are taking advantage of this and real working people are sidelined ( who eventually are leaving QCOM).
There is no motivation in any team, every one is working for sake of salary and not for learning, improving. even old techies have left hopes of any betterment.
outdated tools and techniques are being used. because of reduced technical expertise, no one giving efforts to change things.
HR is spineless , who is just there for show business and saving upper management.
Trust between managers and employees is reducing because of difference in what management says and do.
Joining qcom is like committing career suicide.
