(before anyone asks I'm putting in a new post so that it shows in newest so people actually see it)
After more than 4 months of no response I added a new comment to my Ethicsline submission stating that without a response I'd have no choice but to contact the EEOC. Amazingly there was an almost immediate response.

Employee Relations case #HRCXXXXXX was also created. We have taken necessary steps to address your concerns and have closed the case as it has been resolved. You can contact me via the EthicsLine system or directly at XXXXX or XXXXX@wellsfargo.com. Please note Wells Fargo’s Non-Retaliation Policy: No team member may be retaliated against for providing information about suspected unethical or illegal activities, including fraud, securities law or regulatory violations, or possible violations of any Wells Fargo policies, including Harassment, the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, and the Information Security policy."
As you can see this doesn't actually say anything about what was done. I do know that none of the employees that I listed in my submission were contacted, so read this as we "investigated" ourselves and found we did nothing wrong so case closed.
The key takeaway from this is to not bother with the EthicsLine and just contact the EEOC or the press directly.
