As it looks now they will be using less people and relying on software at the self checkouts to monitor people checking out and robotics. As for the comment above about the people in Arkansas running your store and never working in the field you might want to do your research before you make an accusation of such. A lot of people started out in the store (myself included). Your leadership has worked in the store. The problem is not the fact that policy is implemented from Home Office but your negative attitude and choice not to make things better. My suggestion to anyone who is unhappy, speak up! Let your voice be heard! Wal-Mart has several numbers that can call whether you are an employee or a customer. Use them! Let’s get Wal-Mart back to the way it use to be.
