What are the places to avoid working at in EM (if possible)?
EM is not uniformly bad. There are places where there is still a good work culture/environment/balance compared to others. What are the undesirable areas, BUs, departments? Why?
I have to ask
What happens at EM when things are not going well? I haven't been here long enough to see the low point of the cycle, but what I'm seeing when things are high has me worried. If people are baselessly put on PIPs and fired when everything is great... — read more
A way to avoid MLRP/NSI
If you file a harassment complaint with HR before end of assessment period, they can’t PIP you that period because it will look like retaliation. They’ll probably get you the next year but will protect you this year.
EM and Disability
Recently resigned from EMHC (BTW, the Job market is hot) but wanted to share some observations. Many company Kool-Aid drinkers will say the opposite happens. And yes the MOH system is abused. But I'd say at least 25% if not more of NI and NSI folks... — read more
Ranked OD, but supervisor does not seem to be happy for me

Who ranks higher CL folks?
I had this question for a while. Some folks seem to be represented by their two up and sometimes by a VP in rank meetings. How does it all work? And how can you be represented by someone who you perhaps never talked with?
The pension is worthless

Upcoming change to vacation policy
Rumor has it that starting in 2023, vacation days will be pro-rated across the year. If you leave Jan 1, you would get no paid-in-lieu for any vacation entitlement. If you take your full 2-6 weeks vacation early in the year then leave half way... — read more
