My favorite is when he was bragging to the Indiana Gazette that we had a 98% graduation rate. Why not just say "yeah, we're a diploma mill"? whale done, Art! Anyone else have a story to add?
True cci fashion--wait till the last minute
Geez. The "list" is due on Tues and they still havent shared it with us employees. I guess , as always, they make us wait till the last minute. I do feel bad for the students also---I know they are on pins ans needles also.
Glad I have been teaching everyone to kneel (under my desk) for so long. Changing to the prayer plan should be easy here.
Plus we will be tax exempt! Why didn't I think of this religious scam years ago? Amen to that! Turning water into more scotch...
Fire all the RVPOs!!!
They don't do anything but cast a negative leadership shadow. The nicer ones are worse as they act like they're on your side but once the metrics are low, they will make you out to be the cancer to save their sorry a**.
This is my true story
I was involved in a campus closure for a for profit. Three weeks into the term, it was announced. I never saw the president again. All employees except one finance dude and adjunct and Dean were let go that day. The Dean more or less disappeared... — read more

BE HERE NOW

Appreciate thoughts to try and save this company by "taking it Christian" but that would be severely inappropriate. Their integrity and accountability printed on their pillars, which were to form the foundation of CCI, look great, but, as we have... — read more
California Veteran Affairs Pulls GI Benefits Going Toward Private Corinthian Colleges

Taking the colleges Christian
This might be a good option. It would align well with students and DOE tends to stay away from Christian schools. Too much of a chance for bad press. Look at Grand Canyon as an example. AutoTech+Religion=CCI staying open.
This is how a teachout looks.
Our Campus recently went through a teach-out/potential sale. Not sure if this will apply to most of you as CCI is running out of money and facing bankruptcy next week. It is mid afternoon, all staff and faculty get called to a mandatory emergency All... — read more

CCI goes Chapter 7 BK in a month
The smart money is that a Chapter 7 BK gets filed within a month. California has rushed off to court requesting that the websites explicitly mention the possibility of going out of business. NO ONE is serious about PAYING for a CCI school. The new... — read more
If you stay and teach, will you phone students as required and keep up with Talisma?
If you stay, are you going to keep up with Talisma and phone students? I don't feel bad about teaching. But I do consider it unethical to continue to encourage students to come to class and stay enrolled just so they can continue to rack up more... — read more

Caring about the students? Caring about yourself is more correct.
