Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Taking the colleges Christian

This might be a good option. It would align well with students and DOE tends to stay away from Christian schools. Too much of a chance for bad press. Look at Grand Canyon as an example. AutoTech+Religion=CCI staying open.

I think the post was saying that a religion based approach could keep the schools open. This would help students and workers.

Appreciate your thought to try and save this company by "taking it Christian" but that would be severely inappropriate. Their integrity and accountability printed on their pillars, which were to form the foundation of CCI, look great, but, as we have learned, this isn't who they are today. A decade ago, this company may have been established for all the right reasons. Believe it or not, there were once people who worked for this company who said "do the right thing, even when nobody's looking." Unfortunately those people were replaced with people who agreed to "do anything to make us some money". Like most Cancers, this all happens surreptitiously over time. When a company can't stand up to their own self-righteous, self-determined covenants such as integrity and accountability, they have no right to shop the Christian population now to shore them up. Again, good thought but, not an option.
