A buddy in A&D told me part of the slowdown is that a few assets are in the final stages of negotiation including many of the employees associated with those plays. Seems plausible.

most everyone with 5 yrs experience or less will stay with the possible exception of those in land - those that should be worried are those with 15 plus years in the industry - even those people will be fine - they will get their next gig

agree CHK still, had a very talented group working with me in the Barnett, it was management that were the crooks. Took graft from contractors, robbed landowners out of surface damages and brought down some really good folks
