How are the artists being affected so far?
Hope this helps clear some things...
Each region was given a target to hit for cuts to labor by eliminating positions. It was up to each region to decide how to achieve those cuts. TMs who held those positions will have to find work elsewhere in the company or take a severance (based on... — read more
Holiday table?
Our customers have come to expect a certain very high level of team member service. Who is going to tackle the holiday table and run their turkeys? I am (was) on the marketing team and know how hard we all worked for two months straight to perform... — read more
Do you think they consulted their Feng Shui master before the announcement?
"Hahahaha yes they did and I hear there are plans of mass store sageing once they clear everyone out." I am not trying to belittle what is happening btw, more curious about how they are justifying doing this while presenting a front as an ethical... — read more
A bit on the etiquette here
A suggestion(s) from an outsider (working for a high-tech company)... It's smart to keep it civil here. Stay away from swearing, admins will delete your posts. Defamation or sharing of anyone's personal information will make them delete your posts. I... — read more
This is a nightmare. How can a billion dollar company like WFM get to this point? Why couldn't there have been cost cutting steps taken along
the way. We all know people in out stores and region that don't perform, programs that are broken and lots of areas where we waste money. Why hasn't leadership been proactive? This is so sad to me and did not have to get to this point.

Stop opening so many fing stores. You can't even supply the stores you have now appropriately. I hope PETA wins it's lawsuit. I absolutely love my team and my management. Making them do this to the staff they care about fing sucks.

WFM Exec's are back stabbed.
