I'm hearing this is only the beginning that there is a bigger round of cuts coming right after holidays

I was an ATL in NC and moved to Southern California and was trying to find a buyer or ATL job, that's not going to happen... any advice?

Anybody in the oc stores have news on the layoffs?, we lost 3+ ppl today, my leadership won't say anything.

Can't see myself looking for another job at this point - hoping I still have a position when I come back.

Any other stores dealing with availability issues? We we're told this came down from global. Open availability for supervisors and ATLs, and pretty much open availability for full timers (with 1-2 exceptions, 1 day or night blacked off). If it can't... — read more

I have been with whole foods for 5 years now and at the moment I am a FT cashier... Probably one of the higher paid cashiers at this point. Are we safe from the cuts?

if I take severance how long do I still get medical benefits?

the global marketing letter mentioned that both store and regional positions would be cut, but i haven't heard anything from my region yet.

We lost our bulk buyer, floral supervisor, and one marketing team member. Overall moral is horrible. My thoughts are that WFM has attempted to grow the company to fast. Every week we hear of a new store opening. Something had to give.

I heard labor budget going way down. At most 36 hours for full time team members. Many buyer positions being eliminated.
