Medical benefits different for executives?

I'm a non-manager employee at Qualcomm, and have found the health benefits (no premiums) to be very nice. But I've heard rumor that once you are promoted to a certain level, the health benefits get better. I'd like to ask:

1) If true, what level do you need to achieve for this to kick in?

2) How to the benefits differ from what the typical/starting employee at Qualcomm gets?

so long as there are folks focused on creating value there will be VPs & Directors ready to take credit and pad their wallets. Why can't the lowly engineer get the same medical benefits as the useless management

Again, all the dumbasses who are on here asking about perks, benefits and bonuses, what part of the name of the site do you not understand? This is for people who have lost their jobs and are HURTING, both emotionally and financially. Take your greed elsewhere.

This is the least important perk that should motivate you to climb the ladder. The compensation grows almost exponentially once you go beyond director level so with that kind of additional income this are would be the last one to concern you. Just my 2 cents.

no-cost/free cremation service when each of them dies. It's clearly stated in our Employee Handbook.

Directors and above have a slightly different package but it has changed. It's not really that much different than what you get. Overall you are getting an excellent benefits package and you don't even have to pay for it.
