Not sure at all about the Cambridge 101 office. Seems like anyone from the last round of promotions is in the 'safe' list as well as those outside of XA/XD.
Almost everyone else received an email telling them that 'Under the current proposal, your role is identified as being in a pool which is provisionally at risk of being reduced in size' . Not sure how legal this phrase is considering that some of the last batch of promoted are in the same 'role' as me and have received the 'safe' email.
I have heard that a lot of middle management are gone due to this restructuring.

Huw Jenkins and Ken Bell are the reason why this happened. A lot of great people lost their jobs this week thanks to those two.
Its about time...
All DNA UK engineering Directors and their management team are "at risk". It looks like Huw's group is being paired back to a minimal leadership team.
Huw Jenkins is a definite UK casualty.
So the UK is going to take 6 weeks to let you know you are the unlucky one and then a further 4 weeks to conduct exit interviews. Watch this space!
