I have never seen Steve M. being so nervous and fidgeting so much during all hands meeting. His voice was breaking on a couple of occasions and he was almost stuttering in the beginning of the meeting. George’s presentation is also a joke. “The second half is about the second half” kind of reminds me of “I voted for it before I voted against it” statement by a famous politician. None of these clowns give me a high confidence level in the future of this company. Thoughts???

I don't think others have caught up to Qualcomm in terms of tech. Qualcomm devices are still ahead of the pack. We just need to get rid of Murthy. He's destroying the culture and slowing down any progress from within. He doesn't know how to motivate people. He just cracks the whip and yells like a dictator. Nobody wants to work for him. We just do it because we fear him.
QC is between a rock and a hard place wrt apps processors. Apple and Samsung on top, Mediatek on the bottom.
Intel, Nvidia, TI etc. lurking nearby. On the modem side there is competition from many vendors.
The rest of the tech world has caught up to and has now surpassed QC.
Steve M. and the other executives have the other executives really have to get QC focused on being the best in apps and modem.
And move into and create new devices fast.
just keep returning > 100% of free cash flow. it's like all you can eat shrimp. party never stops.
mmmmmmmmm, cocktail sauce.
Right 61818! Odds of that happening are slim. They certainly want to get ahead but at the expense of the company and by pushing their agendas & keeping competing ideas out.
Until Qualcomm's senior directors adopt the attitude that they are going to work to get ahead of the curve instead of just "...doing it their way because we've always done it this way," the stock will continue to decline.
Depends on what the meaning of the word is is
It's gonna be a bumpy road down the drain for QCOM
He did strike me as nervous, much more than usual, I perceive him as a strong person but this time it was different. Just my 2 cents. Hang in there guys...
