Qualcomm is actually the best place for work because the one who's supposed to recover you lost data doesn't even have to know how to find the snapshot. All he needs to do is to pass to those who knows.

NO NO NO ......worst corporate culture.... This is the worst corporate culture ever in any big companies. They doesn't care about how hard their teams are working and they keep unrealistic deadlines which a normal human being can not do it unless they work day and night at least 12 hrs a day which means they does not have any personal life. They really suck at capacity planning as they doesn't count field issues and the team has to work on their normal tasks even though they got stuck at field issues.
Managers, please please please for god sake treat them as human beings...

I am a retail pharmacist, and our profession is also affected by H1B pharmacists. Wages are getting lower and lower. Engineers are not alone.

You being late on your project has nothing to do with someone else's communication. It's your job to get it done and not placing blame. Every engineering company hire people from outside the US, it's the nature of engineering and the US is behind in terms of education. You gotta be a go getter and not a whiner. Suck it up and do your job, stop acting so entitled because finally the rest of the world has caught up to you.

The original post is very typical of qcom - the poster isn't somone who 'slipped through the cracks', but instead a VERY typical sampling of the 'talent' that they hire. Most likely they are of origin outside the US as I am extremely familiar with the butchered nature of the this verbage. Imagine working in this environment and working alongside these people and having to deal with things such as their comment and having to interpret and figure out what it means? Imagine you being late on an assignment due to simple communication issues? Imagine projects being delayed due to large amounts of these mis-communication issues? All part of the job.
