Regarding Severance Package

What happens to the RSUs that are already granted but are yet to be vested? Will they automatically be vested and be part of the severance package offered in case of pink slip?

You also have only a certain amount of time to exercise your options after termination. Check your Plan Summary.

Why should they not? They show it as part of TRR and company actually shows the costs incurred for providing RSUs to employees as part of their annual expenditure.

This is really surprising, I would not expect them to give us any piece of the unvested pie.

In the past the severance package included around 10% of your unvested stock options. Now it seems that the packages are getting smaller. Why not some % of the unvested RSU?

the laid off person loses anything that hasn't been vested, as Anonymous53074 said, they just evaporate from your account

you lose anything that hasn't been vested. RSU allows the company to retain talent over a coarse of time.

They disappear. You lose any that have not vested.
