437, this is 109, and you are mistaken. Poster 034 and I are two different people. While our writing styles may appear similar to you, we are not the same person. I was just defending poster 034, but thanks for playing.

109: Uh, we know that you are also 034. Your writing tics make you stand out like a sore thumb, so stop complimenting your other posts you weirdo.

Ha! 126 is fishing for information. CCi's financial statements are consolidated; it is impossible (as the analysts's reports indicated) to know which divisions are doing well are which are doing poorly. 126 is clearly trying to get one of us to slip up and provide confidential information. Heald is a great college, with good employees, strong academic programs, and community outreach. You don't get to learn anything more from my post!

126, how do you know this?

Ok, 124, if you say so.

Heald isn't making a profit. Heald is actually a big money pit and hasn't paid the rent.

Heald is done. The announcement is coming in a couple of weeks.

094, I think that 034 made some great points in their post, so please back off. OP, your post is purely speculative on your part, and stating it as a fact is irresponsible on your part as this is not a fact! What information are you basing your statements on other than your opinion? Do you have anything credible to back this up?

068, do you have anything other than your personal opinion to back up your statements?

If CCI files for bankruptcy protection, Heald is an asset that still could be sold. It could be a good strategic move, which means CCI probably won't do it.

80K to renew turnitin? Optics for a teachout. New Career Services guy and accreditation prep? Optics for a teachout. And, ummm, that thing we got from Pres and CEO was a strategic plan? Really?

034: You offer a well-reasoned and thoughtful argument (refreshing.....)A couple thoughts: I don't see enrollment numbers sufficient for Heald to continue as a going concern. If AG Harris does not back down, no one will buy Heald and assume that liability. At that point, the ED agreement kicks in, forcing teach-out and closure. And last but not least, I learned long ago not to confuse CCI management action and logic.

OP sites no credible source of information. If this is true, why would CCi pay 80k to renew TurnItIn? Why would the President and CEO email this year's strategic plan earlier this week? Why would Heald hire a new division director of career services to assist with reporting? Why would the college be planning for upcoming accreditation site visits? In short, why would the entire college be planning for the future? I don't believe you, kind sir. Please post facts (as I have just modeled) rather than conjecture. You have neither educated nor informed the readers of this blog.

Yes, of course, the school with regional accreditation, turning a profit and a history of over 150 years is to be shut down...if so, blame Kamala Harris, Jack M., and believing education should be traded on the stock market...No one at Heald wanted to be part of CCi - except the CCi management that were moved to our college to run it into the ground.

And how sad and ironic that Everest is the school that was bought. Well, we'll see how that goes...
