The entire San Diego site is rampant with rumors and everyone seems to be over sensitive, paranoid and looking over their shoulder. I know at least two people who got notified about 3 weeks ago and given 2 weeks to leave the company. These cuts happened on the Sr. Director level and people affected are QC old-timers who had been closing-in on 16-17 years of employment. Just like everyone else, I hear the rumors of a 5% workforce reduction or about 1600-1800 people across EVERY business and department including QCT that has been considered safe heavens in the past. I also heard that some regional offices in emerging markets slated to be shut down. Merry Christmas everyone!
