I'd love to know the logic behind swapping holidays for personal days. Bet Follett has something sneaky planned.

it's all too expensive even with the discount.
What they want the employees to do their holiday shopping at Follett? Just please, how low can these people go, how about a holiday bonus instead so we can go shopping. I am not buying anything from this company.
And now they're going to give Follett employees a greater discount for things we buy between dates in December!
Read the P&P this morning for field staff (yes this is a repeat.) Is this a revision that is upcoming, or does it apply to the home office P&P? I don't see this as improbably, sadly.
Having to use PTO for jury duty and bereavement ...that's crazy. I bet they don't announce it. Just spring it on you when you get called for jury duty or someone dies.
Jury duty and bereavement are now part of the new PTO.. So if you use sick and vacation, and someone dies in Dec, you are SOL. And best part....if you start taking unpaid time for anything after you burn through your time off, they can start writing you up.
Is this in the Policy and Procedure manual? I'd like to start digging myself, maybe post the entirety.
Wait, no more jury duty or bereavement pay??? I didn't hear that.
Read the fine print. No more bereavement or jury duty pay, that comes out of your new days off. We are losing time not gaining no matter how they spin it.
It never stops. They just keep cutting and cutting.
Rest assured, whatever they change is not going to be in our favor. Each move will cut what employees get and will turn into bonuses they payout to themselves. It's the Follett way, cheers and happy Thanksgiving
