A baseball player in Miami just signed a 325 million dollar contract. Is he worth 300 milion more than 56 campuses? Apparently so. Frankly, I am surprised that it sold at all. Time will tell if this was a good deal for ECMC, or an expensive mistake.
Heald won't get sold.
So I am guessing they just file BK at this point, they money they are getting is nothing. Cannot even pay their lawyers which I am sure have racked up a huge bill
I think they're still trying to sell Heald to a different buyer group. From the rumors floating around here the last few weeks (but that I haven't heard at CSC), Kamala blocked the sale of the other CA schools due to Gainful Employment.
