Carmella was the CIO until about a year or so ago, she lead the most dysfunctional IT group known to the human race with an iron fist.

Why are you expecting her resignation? She moved on to On-Line a year+ ago.
Friday is her last day
If she did resign, and none of us really know, I would assume it would be announced after the sale announcement. That only makes sense. Furthermore, none of the execs will be moving forward with the sale. Therefore, this should not be a surprise.
