Good for you VP. I've worked for Kmart in the past. Every day this company takes another step towards becoming Kmart. Kmart treats employees like they are unimportant, disposable idiots. I worked as a salaried manager for years without a raise while the higher ups got ridiculous raises and bonuses every year. I am looking to get out.... no matter what, I will not work Fall 2015 rush. I'd rather do... well anything else.
My RM in Texas will through his own kin under the bus and brag about it. Don't think you matter. Good for you for moving on.. you were a great VP with courage.

I know more than a few lawyers would love to talk with you and they'd love even more to see any emails directing regional managers to drive out senior store staff and senior staff in Chicago.
