Follett has hired a PR firm (Edelman)to conduct a survey to gauge their reputation. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edelman_(firm). It's interesting to read the tactics they use.

Edelman should survey all the campus contacts to include the negative comments and future contract losses.
They will probably track where it came from no matter what they say upfront and it may be another ploy to find those to fire. Best bet is not to respond at all or keep it very very brief, beware.
Be careful of what you say and how you respond to anything. Do not trust leadership - it will not be anonymous.
Well, maybe now somebody from Follett will reach out my campus contact. They couldn't be more pissed at Follett and they just don't trust them. Commissions shrinking more each month.
Both
Is this survey for employees or external. I would think it is external since all they talk about is making Follett a household brand. Maybe we can provide them with their reputation here and they can save the money of a survey.
At least I know my profit sharing money is going to a good cause.

Specializes in Astroturfing - the practice of masking the sponsors of a message or organization (e.g. political, advertising, religious or public relations) to make it appear as though it originates from and is supported by grassroots participant(s). It is a practice intended to give the statements or organizations more credibility by withholding information about the source's financial connection. Nice. Just what Follett needs to prove it values each and every associate!
I bet we get more fake posts to this board.
