There is a place in the world for for-profit educators, but there is NO place for people like CCI. CCI's demise will force others to clean up their act. This is a GOOD thing.

I saw plenty of Republicans telling us about the miracles of for-profit schools and how eager these corporations were to help students, but that was before this mess exploded. So no, don't expect to hear from any Republicans taking responsibility for how laughably, pathetically wrong they were about the merits of allowing dumbass MBAs to run colleges.

I don't see too many Republicans coming to the defense of CCI. Some decisions are just common sense.

This is what regulation is, expecting honest reporting and following up with consequences with schools that lie and cheat. I think what you're looking for is called corruption not regulation, so you may need to see if a Republican can help you out.
