OfficeDepot/Max announced today they will close 150 stores this year, and a total of 450 in a three year span. You know they would not have followed suit unless they knew we were closing 500 in 3 years. This is bad news for everyone. If one of our stores closes, we might not be able to drive across town and get a job in the same industry at a competitor. Ugh.

OM/OD is closing so many due to how close to each other they are.
In some cases there is an OM and OD in the same strip mall.
Lookout Q1 was very bad, there are going to be some major surprises in the next few weeks. Ultimately any linked insiders know that all tier 4 and eventually tier 3 stores will close. Look at the stores that lose phones or Apple they'll also be on the chopping block. The time to leave is right now!
It's time to change industry, I am just starting my career so it may be a bit easier, however, the writing is on the wall for everyone.
