Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Mr heat is not your friend folks

When you call mr heat it goes to HR directly. After that the complaint goes to your regional who (if you have a regional like mine) immediately tells everyone about the complaint whether anonymous or not. Usually the complaint is shelved and nothing happens unless you give your name for follow up. If you do give your name HR goes to your manager. In the end nothing happens. HR is meant to protect the company from lawsuits. They don't give a crap about employees. I've had many experiences with mr heat and it's pretty much a joke.

I second that. I knew someone who called Mr. Heat. She was pressured to provide identifying information and was later called in by her manager and quizzed as to whether she had called to complain.
