Who cares about your stinking bonus? People lost their jobs without notice and couldnt afford to pay their bills or have christmas for their family! I was one of them! Complain about your "problems" somewhere else!

I'm sure FOLLETT would be thrilled if we quit talking about benefits and harassment.
It was all part of the same "project" try and terminate positions which saves money because of severance and other compensations if not layoff. Thus was the objective. A previous post observed the layoffs or terminations were not done in a vacuum it affected others as well including our customers, students and campuses which they have a contractual obligation.
This is site is about layoffs. Although they are not layoffs, they are terminations.
I don't even get a bonus so it doesn't affect me but I get it. Bless you 6175. I hope you can let go of the anger for your own sake. But we all are hurting in some way and we are just trying to deal with it all. No one dismisses what you have gone through.
There is no question that losing your job is much worse than losing a bonus. I get that, but you need to understand that those of us still with the company want to talk about things that are happening to us. It is all part of the bigger problem - the lack of personal integrity on the part of senior management. The mass firing didn't happen in a vacuum. All these things fit together. Personally, I noticed that the more they preach about 'Follett values', the less integrity they demonstrate. Apparently, they feel that talking about values excuses them from practicing them.
I understand your statements and sympathize with your argument but this site is for everybody. I realize people have lost a places to live, cars and couldn't pay their bills and it definitely ruin many family holidays. This is a place to have a voice. Maybe the folks complaining about not getting their bonus worked hard and needed it and planned on it, maybe for their kids tuition who knows.
