Got the bad news Monday. FHEG performance so poor it closed the gate at our division as well even though we made our numbers.

You guys were right and clearly my gut feeling was as well.
So once again they decided to lie rather than be open and honest. Let people think they would get their bonus and then blindside them at the last minute. Shows the true Follett values.
FYI the gate has been closed for better than six months. Fall Rush at FHEG was that poor. There was no way after Fall Rush to make it up. The decision was made to not share the information.

Here is another case where we kept getting emails for the last year saying everything was going well and the gate was open. Suddenly at the very last minute we hear that the gate is closed and there will be no bonus. Is upper management really so stupid that they had no idea there was a problem? Or was is it deliberate setup with the emails designed to string us along all year believing all was well? Personally I think this was planned.
