The worst is behind and the company is now positioned for a better future. We need to move forward and serve the students and do what we know is best for moving forward. You may not agree with decisions made in the past 9 months but that is in the past.

Maybe some form of "we" do, but most of the people here are struggling to find gainful employment.
This company sucks now.
What about benefits? Are you done cutting them?
when you build the company identity around Follett values and then proceed to ignore those very values, what is left? That's the elephant in the room. What is Follett now? That is the question for today and tomorrow. Serve students? When did that enter into the equation? The students have been poorly served by this attack against front line employees, (the very people who were concerned with how to best serve students).
From the outside it looks like one more failing business.
The Treaty of Versailles was also in the past....look where that took Europe in the 1930's and 40's.....
follett will never come back from this.
No one believes that.
That's a Kool Aid drinker
If the worst is over, does that mean no more layoffs? What about bonuses? Are they going to be paid, or will only the high wage earners get their bonuses while the rest of us take the hit?
So if things are going so well, why has the company not announced the financial results? A message went out in January that the results would be announced the first week of February. It's the 25th and not a sound.
Easy for you to say the past is the past too, you freaking douche! How about those people that were laid off or had hours cut and might still not have another job? Easy to forget that?!
You are either mentally challenged or a troll. There is nothing good right now
Wow. If you really believe that then you have NO CLUE WHAT IS HAPPENING in this company. How can you be so clueless?
Income, value, respect are all in the past. A swinging guillotine is our present.
Perhaps you feel as you had to make unpleasant decisions and now the unpleasantness has past. That would be both myopic and misinformed. Your decisions have hurt people. Strangely, your decisions don't appear to put Follett in a better position to compete, either.
Perhaps you should put Follett in your past. All would be better off.
Follett doesn't have a future, what you are expecting sales next year? The students here aren't coming back.....
Follett doesn't have a clue
How the hell can you serve the students when you don't have staff to answer questions or books to sell them??? Go back to school for Retail 101 and don't bring the great wisdom that KFart/Smears taught everyone.
You're kidding right? Is this the prerogative of the new management, sipping the gin & juice and telling everybody that it's going to be better? For who? The family? The new KFart management cronies? By the time this is all over, those that have brains won't be there and all that will be left is the ass kissers, cruisers, and Yes people.
