Follett will never be the same company many of us have known over the years however it will continue on. Continue on as a much smaller completely different company one of which will NEVER earn the respect of its employees to the magnitude of what was once a great company. I say to the Follett family members and board members, shame on you for letting it get this bad. Where have you been for the past ten years when things were going south? And more importantly where are you now? Don't sit back and hide behind your hatchet men/woman. Try to save the family name now before it is too late. Show your employees respect and if you are going to do more layoffs do them with dignity for the people that have put their own blood sweat and tears into your company. Moral is at an all time low and the people that have made you rich over the years are the ones that are hurting right now. You may not be able to buy that third vacation home you wanted but some of us are losing our primary homes and can't even feed our families anymore because of bad business decisions YOU ultimately allowed. Step up to the plate and admit that and fess up to other mistakes and apologize to us. It just might start the healing process for many of us suffering, from those that are still working and those that are not.
Good luck to all that have lost their jobs and to those that still have them. Either way you look at it both groups are suffering. You may not feel like anyone cares but there are many of us out there that can't sleep at night because of your pain because it is our pain too.
