At 670 our Director of Stores has run out every experienced manager on his senior staff. Now the abused (oh, I mean the store employees)have to look at inexperienced retailers instead of bookstore professionals for guidance. Administering policies in this hectic environment would be difficult for anyone, but this group can't begin to grasp what's going on.
Be the professional you want to work with. No one will remember that you made a statement by walking out. You'll remember that you Follett made you feel you had to do something you wouldn't ordinarily do.
