Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Why do you feel that way? We have VERY limited resources over here and ever changing business reqs. The deadlines are crazy and we are forced to scarify quality to hit the dates. Imagine you are building a house and I tell you, a week before you move in, that I need an extra floor, and once you are done with it, I tell you, I would like to revert, and have my old one-floor-shorter house back, but the backyard needs to double in size. That's kind of what's going on in IT right now... Cannot really blame the builder...
