Thread regarding Follett layoffs

That is all bad enough. Then I get called into an office and informed I no longer had a job, was paid and told I was to pack my things and leave immediatly. I could not tell anyone why and was told if I wanted to say goodbye to anyone I could come back another time and do so. I was then escorted from the premises like a criminal. You cannot afford to pay for insurance as you are not working and you cannot simply get another job that is full time with benefits. So clearly you still work for this company that requires and " exit letter" when you give notice but, gives no notice to good people who are already struggling. Im not sure why you are creeping on this site and you could be next as this company is clearly sinking!
