They got rid of everyone that was full time but not exempt across our store group. So now it is a bunch of student workers and a couple of exempt managers who will have to work twice as hard and make little to no bonus because we are in a shrinking market.
The note came down from Bob S. that this restructuring was to put more emphasis on the people who interact with the customers and that the hours cut would be reallocated to customer service positions.
That makes sense. Except you just fired all of our customer service folks.
Admit it, they need to save money by getting rid of everyone on benefits. Just like a Walmart store.
