Thread regarding Manulife Financial Corp. layoffs

Thanks a lot Manulife for a year of stressful thanklessness. If I would have thought the layoffs would have been of dead wood then okay. But to do it on the Thursday before Easter was tasteless. I will be transferring all my stocks, RSP's etc out of this horrible company. The good people I saw let go was shocking. Even more shocking (well maybe not so much Afterall) was it was the ass kissers that remained and given promotional jobs. Are you kidding me???!!! There's no way I'm staying with company. I wouldn't have thought that a year ago but this has proved to me that all this process is doing is cutting resource cost to impress the investors so the stock prices will go up the the upper mgmt will get their millions of dollars in bonus. They all make 100 times what I do. Hope they feel good sleeping at night with their million dollar salaries while the people doing the work will have to take on more work load. As if it wasn't a sweat shop already! And let's not forget that all of QA and development is going offshore to India!!, yep that's right folks????even after all the government money Manulife sucks from them and all the big corp tax breaks from the Feds.....your hard working tax dollars are all being sent to India !!!
