Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

The cohort default rate (CDR) is higher when you have dropouts. Heald IS a diploma mill. At best, 10% of the Heald graduates are likely to get a job worthy of the cost. The word is out on the street that you can get a BETTER education for 10% of Heald's tuition at the local PUBLIC community college. The CDR is being kept LOW because CCI has figured it out that you can put students into deferment. Heald's true placement rate (sorry, getting a job at McDonald's after getting an AA in business doesn't count) is probably less than 25%.
