Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Heald college DOAA's at the upcoming weekly (or daily) faculty meeting will be stressing "student retention". The October numbers (as everyone knows by now) were an absolute disaster. Making it worse is that student attendance for the 1st week of classes is at an almost record low. Heald faculty are going to be spending even more time to track down the bodies (oops student). Heald online has suffered an even bigger percentage drop in enrollment than the brick and mortar schools. As bad as the October enrollment numbers are the concern among the Heald upper management (or mis-management) is that the January 2013 numbers could even be WORSE.
