Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Heald College is going through a major reorganization. NEW Director of Admissions (oops sales) are "cleaning house". The October enrollment numbers are so BAD that Heald has decided to clean house. NONE of the admission people made their quota and the simplest solution is to just fire the current sales (oops admission) people and start over. Heald full time faculty are to be replaced by adjuncts making under $2K a course. If one can't find enough adjuncts then sales people with BA degrees will become the new adjunct faculty. Heald's mission is to "service the student". "Workforce professionalism" goes out the window. No one really believed in the dress codes in the first place and if you have a gang banger, hood rat as one of your students then you will adjust your "teaching style" accordingly. If a student drops then the instructor is responsible for getting the student back. Lose too many students then you are simply replaced with another adjunct instructor.
