Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

My last day was 10/15. I went to HR and dropped off my ID badge and keys and a letter of resignation. HR immediately called the DAA, who met with me and asked me to stay as part-time. I asked for the evening to think about it. He called me within two hours demanding an answer. I declined to stay and received my final check today. Our campus president also "resigned" on Monday although she's been on so-called medical leave for over a year. We have a new head of admissions who the DAA said would be firing people to build his own team. When I asked about the numbers for October, he evaded the question. I would be very hesitant if I were working there to continue believing that everything is okay.
