Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

CCI is going down. Of course it is going to take some time before it goes down. The simple fact of the matter is that people are figuring it out that CCI education is a ripoff. Quite likely in 2015 CCI loses Title IV student aid which is likely to be the end for CCI. In the meantime, states such as California are pulling the plug by denying for profits state student aid. Heald is losing $17 million dollars worth of Cal Grants starting in July 2012. Continuing students finishing off their degrees received 80% of their prior year Cal Grants. In July 2013, NO Heald student will receive a Cal Grant. Say what you will, but losing $17 million a year in GRANT assistance is going to have an effect on your enrollment. Talk to ANY California Everest, Heald, Wyotech sales person about the ability to find students and they all tell you that it is extremely difficult.
