Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

I worked for CCi for over 5 years. The last couple of months before they did a reduction in staff, I was working on a huge project. I didn't even have time to take an actual lunch. I worked thru my lunch hour everyday just to stay afloat. After the project was almost done, they brought me in and said we are letting you go. It is nothing to do with your job performance. I found out later that 3 people were now doing the job I was doing. There is no support for the staff. 99% of the people who work really hard for the company are the ones they let go and the ones who goof off all the time still are there. A couple of years ago it was voted the best place to work. Not sure who voted as most of the employees were unhappy there at that time and still are. They never know when they come to work if they still have a job at the end of the day. The founding fathers need to take control again and get this company back on track. I'm sure they can't be happy on the direction it has taken. It used to be a good company and I still beleive it can be turned around, but not by the management that is currently there.
