AT&T is helping so many communities with their Believe Chicago social program by laying off the people that live in them. What a pathetic corporation full of phonies. To all the techs that volunteered to help them look good, got you s---ers!

You're really going to go there? You're going to compare working for a large company to being a welfare recipient?? You might need to turn off the corporatist media programing.
Believe that one Union in Chicago bragged how they hammered out a contract in lil over a month ....and then said they couldn't (too lazy) do better. We all knew lay offs were coming and SIPP payment was never enhanced. Somehow the Contract got voted in.
Ironic how people complain how bad the business is run. Then they turn around on the other side of the business and complain they aren't giving out jobs like welfare. Corporations aren't government. They aren't there to employee people just to be nice and eat the cost. Newsflash, the government isn't doing it either, they just use your tax money. And that nice government is the one who created the job losses with the free trade with other countries who have the poor wages you don't seem to want.
Believe you are just a number on a spreadsheet, disposable as anyone else.
AT&T Believes. AT&T Believes in sending people to unemployment in Chicago, Houston, St. Louis and all their regions. They believe everyone should have an equal opportunity in lay offs. Smile for the photo op.
