Wall Street has said the company has too many people for the revenue it generates and must go through massive culling for it to be sold off. So waves and waves of culling layoffs will happen this year in preparation for the sale by year end.

Middle and senior management are carpetbaggers. That all need to be fired along with number 15
They have to cull the middle management like the useless group directors and managing directors. Most of those fatty people only got those titles for the patronage they provide to their bosses or family relationships. They are not talented and should have been released in October 2017...

It's already begun. I know of 6 people laid off in the Americas in the last month and a half. Three in the last two weeks. Keep your eyes open, friends.
I think they just really wanted an excuse to use the word culling a lot in a statement...
