You need to correct the term of scan & go. It is a scam & go. Give it away and blame the inventory .
This is a very small gesture especially for one of the richest companies in the world. They have taken more then they give. Think about it ?

When did they take away early shopping for Plus, like your post says? The online benefit is 2 day free shipping on most items ordered online.
I will never understand how something offered to us by corporate is always turned around to be negative by some people.

For some people, the small gestures are never enough.
Membership is $45 so you should have told them to keep their $55, not their $65. Make sure when you get any cash rewards that you tell them to keep that too...
Something tells me that you will keep any cash rewards you earn, but will still complain it isn’t enough.

Give me a free plus membership.... which means nothing to many associates. We can’t afford to buy half the merchandise in the club or don’t buy food in bulk when there is only one person in a household. If you want to make a difference to your associates give them 10% pff

When i first started the only way to get instant savings was to have a plus membership- they took that away
You needed the plus to get in early - they took that away
Now we get a free plus so we can what? Shop online?
Now you're expected to trick members into thinking they need this in their life, lol.
They had to offer the associate's the plus otherwise the associate would've had a prompt at the register that wouldn't allow them to shop earlier than 10 am.

With all the people quitting cause of block scheduling they are throwing the ones that are staying a bone I rather have a decent starting wage then a free plus membership

Lol! Yippee! Make sure you download scan & go so you can use that card in the future. Much easier to give out a free $100 membership by eliminating people. Win/win I guess you'd say.
